PUBLIC CONTACT: Workforce Board, Central Texas Workforce staff, Texas Workforce Commission, civic and community organizations, subcontractors, other agencies, and general population

Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative Direction
·
Directs, manager and administers workforce development system
·
Manages personnel and staffing issues
·
Oversees the management of contractor operations
Program/Goal Achievement
·
Directs preparation of annual and long-range budgets and plans
·
Manages and directs overall operational activities
·
Reviews and approves program planning documents, budgets, program performance reports, and activities of the workforce system
Compliance
·
Directs the development of training activities, operational plans, and policies/procedures
·
Ensures compliance with state, federal, and local laws and agency policies
Public Relations
·
Acts as lead liaison to the Workforce Board, Chief Elected Officials Consortium Board, and civic and community organizations
·
Represents the Workforce Board before state and federal workforce development agencies, boards, and commissions
·
Serves as spokesperson for all Central Texas Workforce System programs
·
Promotes public relations with local, state, regional and federal officials
